Excellent sounding outdoor speaker Mar 12, 2011

I don't think you can touch a better patio speaker under $200, probably under $250 or more. I've had them outdoors for 3 years now in the AZ heat and they sound great in all kinds of music. Unfortunately, my yard guys knocked one off the wall so I'm back looking and have decideed to pick up another pair, in black this time. It seems like they should cost more but I'm not complaining.

Bought these speakers for an outside deck. Mounted them directly on the fascia board, under gutter. Mounting was very easy. Just be careful to properly secure them as they weigh 7.5 lbs each. Wired them into a JVC receiver/amp using a Leviton volume control in the kitchen. They look great, sound great, need to have some time to assess outside durability. At this point, I would highly recommend these units.

These speakers are great. I bought them to replace some old speakers that were installed by a professional adjacent to our outdoor pool 6 years ago. Was happy that they were easy to install. The sound quality is very good. Now we can listen to music outside in the pool and actually hear the music clearly.

Awesome speakers for the price! May 14, 2012

I purchased a pair of these speakers based on the the glowing reviews. When they arrived, I was immediately impressed with the quality of their construction. The euphoria continued when I hooked them up and listened. After a week of continuing to be impressed, I ordered two more sets. The speakers competently fill a large outdoor area with quality sound and cost much less than similarly sized outdoor speakers from more recognizable brnads. Does the manufacturer know it could charge a lot more and get away with it? :-)

I do not consider myself an audiophile, but I think these speakers are great..we installed them on the back of our house for music in the backyard and connected them to a Sonos player... they do NOT disappoint and our guests have even asked what kind of speakers they are. No, they don't have that distinct "Bose" sound, but the sound is very "clean" and there's good bass response, especially considering they are playing outside without walls to bounce off of.
They were easy to install, sound great, and are a good value. Highly recommended!
