This adaptor is used as an interface between a Nissan diversity antenna connector and a radio with a standard antenna connection. The Nissan antenna connector has two pins and a clip to connect it to the stock radio. The adaptor accepts the two pins and has a receptacle to hold the clip. If you install it with the clip in the receptacle, the antenna will not work because the adaptor is wired backwards (the pins are reversed). You will know this because the radio will not pick up any stations. If you install it with the clip on the other side (not in the receptacle) it works fine. I would have given this three stars, however, it is well made and does work so it received four stars.

This antenna adapter doesn't work for my 2000 Nissan. After I installed it to my new car radio, I could only received very few FM stations, no AM station at all. Tried to switch back to my original nissan adapter, but it can't fit into the new radio. Luckily I don't listen to the FM/AM very often.

Worked as it said it would. For a 1999 Nissan Sentra the antenna adapter was needed so that the antenna cable could fit on a aftermarket radio.

This adapter worked for a friend's 200 Nissan Altima. THe fitting was snug, but I always tape the connections anyway to prevent them from pulling apart. There really isn't much else to say...it worked!

I bought this cable for my wifes Nissan, the old Bose unit had lost its luster, installing this cable and the non oem radio,was simple, just plug and play ,the fm quality with this connector is identical to factory,am is also clear,if you change out your radio unit in your car this is a must buy for the money.
