well worth the money Aug 07, 2010
By Fuad Khandaker This is one of my most favourite tool. This needs pressure adjustment from the factory settings for a perfect crimp though. Much less effort needed than the other cheaper ones. Love it.
Great Frame May 24, 2010
By S. Bastian I have owned these for a few months now and I love the frames and interchangeable jaws. I have since picked up 2 more sets of jaws to crimp a variety of connectors. Well worth the mone, you always get a PROFESSIONAL crimp!!
Great Crimpers Aug 11, 2009

"Amazon Junkie"
Paladin 8045, RJ45/CATV "F" Crimper... This is a great tool. I purchased one for my boyfriend for his birthday, and he loves it. (I purchased it at a local retailer because it was about $15 cheaper - definitely shop around as the prices seem to vary a great deal.) The design makes it very easy to use, and the changeable dies are very convenient - only 1 tool for all your crimping needs. I was able to use the tool with very little effort or pressure, and, unlike the other reviewer, had no trouble gripping the tool with one hand.
Crimptastic! Apr 19, 2009
By M. Lord A bit heavy, but that just attests to the quality of the product.
You will get a perfect crimp all the time.
The die set that comes with the crimper can handle Western Electric (WE) and Stewart Stamping (SS) RJ45 connectors; this is the type generally used.
The ratchet design is great, but when fully open my hand has to adjust to get a grip to close. Not a big deal, but would have liked the handle a bit closer in.
Best crimper I have ever used, and to top it off, it comes with a lifetime warranty.

Solid build - Seek compatible connector info before purchase. Mar 01, 2010
By Julian E. Best One wonders why 'RJ45/CATV F' is part of the title of the tool as it is supposed to crimp a variety of different connectors for various applications.
No complaints about build quality. Seems solid in that regard.
Before buying this tool however, carefully ascertain the brands and model numbers of the connectors that are compatible with the tool and die set combinations. Do not trust tool suppliers as I did. Many of them don't know and apparently don't care so long as the tool leaves the stock room. I now have two sets of BNC AND F connnectors that were recommended and proven useless.
I was also not impressed with Paladin USA. Prospective purchasers have a lot of choices with respect to brands. Why have an evidently good product and not have readily availabe updated information on what will work with it?
