My 5-year old LOVES this game! Apr 29, 2012

I've been on the look-out for educational games for my son. He loves playing on the computer, and we're both happy when he can pick a game that challenges him mentally as well as being fun. This game has been his first pick since I bought it. It is a bit of an older game, but it's perfect for kids. It has habitat exploration, basic math, animal facts and cute little songs. In each habitat (savannah, ocean, etc) there are different games to play, and once you finish a task you can earn a picture or stamp of a particular animal to learn more about it.
I would highly recommend this game for the 5-7 age group. It might be a bit challenging to navigate through for a 4-year old unless they're pretty good with a computer already, and it might be a bit too immature for kids 10 and older. It has enough games to keep them entertained and learning for a while. My son sings the regeneration rock song from the crab game at least three times a day. I love having him explain to me what a nocturnal animal is, what an herbivore would eat and what happens to a crab that loses a claw! Two thumbs up from us.
