Sometimes buying brand name products makes a difference Jun 29, 2007

I've tried three or four different brands (store brands and no-name) in search of the best price. I found out the hard way that with this ol' printer (Stylus 740i), the Epson inks are the most reliable and last longest. The other ink cartridges biggest drawback was lifespan. I think it's because I ended up wasting ink doing regular - almost daily, in some cases - cleaning clogged nozzles! At this point, I can't get it anywhere locally at a lower price, so Amazon was the best choice on that count also.

The ink cartriges that I've received thru Amazon.com have always been perfect. The price that Amazon charges is very fair. (Colors are vivid and proper!)

The color cartridges are great. I'm so glad that Amazon carries them, and they qualify for super saver shipping also.
