Very Good Bluetooth Headphone!! Feb 07, 2011
By S. P. Sasanipour
"S. P. Sasanipour"
Like the other reviewer mentioned when I ordered these there were not any reviews on them so, I decided to write one. Here it goes:
First of all let me mention that I am a big fan of Creative Labs and I had owned and currently I own number of their products. They generally make very good stuff. I have been looking for a pair of decent bluetooth headphones for last couple of year and I have tried number of different ones including Motorolla and Sony but none of them where good as this pair of Creative WP-300.
Pros: -Very light weight compared to other ones -I like the fact that the ear cups swiles and make the whole thing much more flatter to storage -Fast charging time (around 1.5 hours) -Very good range (above 30 feet) -Long lasting charge compared to others (6+ hours) -It includes volume control, play, pause, reverse and forward bottons on the right ear cup -Using a standard micro usb plug for charging which is good for me since I have couple of other devices with the same plug so I don't have to take additional cables with me on the road. -Travel pouch is included -Very good sound quality for a pair of pure bluetooth headphone (I have used them for all kinds of music, movies, and training sessions/videos).
Cons: -The ear cups are little bit small so like every 45 to 60 minutes I have to take them off for couple of minutes otherwise my ears start to hurt. Although, overall they are very comfortable. -It would of been nice if there was a battery level indicator on these. -Also, it would of been nice it they could be used as a pair of wired headphones like some of the other ones out there.
Overall, if you have a bluetooth transsiver on your machine (or you don't mind buying one) and looking for a good quality headphone around or under $100.00 go head and buy this pair.

Decent headphones Feb 04, 2011

I am writing this review because when I purchased these headphones, there weren't any reviews on the product. The ear bud port on my sound card broke so I could not use headphones with my laptop. A new sound card is too expensive so I looked for alternate options. It came down to this or a set made by Sony. I decided on this pair because they charged via the usb port instead of an a/c adapter. I like them a lot so far. The ear cups are a little small, but they are really comfortable. the sound quality is higher than I expected, espically for a pure bluetooth headphone. The only thing I don't like about them is there is a little interference in the treble, but the bass sounds really good.

Awesome sound, Excellent for TV, movies, video... Nov 06, 2011
By A. Pariseau This is an astounding bluetooth headset. The sound quality is excellent, they're small and comfortable, and, yes - they are great for TV. The key for TV is the apt-X codec, which reduces latency/delays to an almost imperceptible amount so that the lips and sound are almost perfectly in synch. The result is an exceptionally satisfying experience. Beware, however, that BOTH ENDS of the link must be apt-X capable! I chose the Jaybird uSport transmitter for connection to my satellite receiver JayBird BAU uSport Bluetooth Adapter for 3.5mm Devices - Bluetooth Headset - Retail Packaging - Black and a Cables to Go mini stereo to dual RCA plug adapter cable Cables To Go 40424 Stereo F/M RCA Y-Cable (6 Inches, Black). The headset paired up perfectly with the uSport transmitter in apt-X mode (as evidenced by the double-pinging blue LED on the transmitter). Range is excellent - at least 30'. I also tried the headset with my wife's iPhone with the iPod function: amazing. The controls in the right earcup control the iPhone for pause, play, stop, next selection, reverse, etc. Paired up perfectly with the iPhone as well. These are keepers!! Great job, Creative.

Great Sound and Battery Life May 11, 2011
By Paul Mac I've had these for about a month and really like them. This is my first time with Bluetooth anything, and I use them with my T-Mobile G2 phone to listen to my Sirius radio app. The headphones paired up easily with my phone and the sound quality is great. They are very comfortable to wear and I usually am bothered by headphones after a short time. I love the volume controls right on the ear, they adjust the volume gently so you don't accidentally crank the sound way up. The headphones charge with a USB cable and it takes about an hour, the battery lasts for about 8 hours. I'm very happy with these headphones and I've always been happy with Creative's products.

Good quality stereo bluetooth headphones Aug 25, 2011

The Creative WP-300 are a fairly rare breed: closed-style, over-the-ear mini-can style bluetooth headphones. Unlike the vast majority of stereo bluetooth headphones on the market today, they go back to only providing stereo playback functionality; you cannot use them as a phone headset. If you're listening to music on the WP-300 connected to your phone and a call comes in, the music will stop but you will not hear the call through the headphones.
The WP-300 features logically organized controls on the right earpad: Power, play/pause, previous and next track controls on the outside face, volume on the side. The buttons fall very naturally on your fingers without fumbling. The left side features the power connector, a modern and ubiquitous micro USB connector.
The finish quality is excellent. The body of the earcups is coated with a rubbery finish, the outside is shiny black plastic circled with a chrome ring. The earpads rest on a soft leatherette-covered foam. The padded headband is comfortable and resistant. The band length is adjustable and should fit any size head. Pressure appears to be a good compromise: not so much that it would be uncomfortable, but enough to stay in place properly on your ears. However, by nature this type of headphone is not comfortable for extended periods, a problem exacerbated by the small size of the earcups which means they're resting directly on your ears instead of around them. If you have sensitive ears these may not be the headphones for you.
The cups are articulated and rotate 90 degrees to make the phones easier to pack. Although convenient, this is still taking up a fairly sizable amount of space.
The box contains the headphones, a USB to micro USB adapter cord, and a soft fabric carry bag. I don't understand why Creative does not include a power adapter. Sure, USB is everywhere these days but still, it's always good to get a spare charger just in case.
PROS ---- - Nice finish - Long battery life - Comfortable - Good sound quality (don't expect audiophile sound, it's bluetooth!) - Easy pairing - Standard micro USB connector - Easy controls
CONS ----- - No headset or handsfree bluetooth profile support, no microphone - No USB adapter supplied - Limited folding for travel - Uncomfortable for long periods
CONCLUSION ----------- If you're looking for closed "can"-type bluetooth headphones and don't mind the lack of headset profile support, the WP-300 are a great set at a very good price.
