Convenient Nov 15, 2006

This item is included with the purchase of the Cobra 75 WX ST and does not need to be ordered separately - unless you wish to share your CB with more than one vehicle.

Easy Addition Oct 20, 2005

The AC-701 Remote allowed me to move my Cobra (75-WXST) from the truch to my Jeep with the turning of one collar on the connection cable. Now both my vehicles have a CB ffor a minor increase in cost, rather than owning 2 CB radios. Great Concept.

Good products still affordable Sep 03, 2007
By Wayne Alexander Bielaga The Cobra Remote Mount Connection Box is an innovative solution to a multi-radio problem. This unit allows me to use one CB Radio in two different cars without having two Radios. Furthermore, it does not affect the SWR's, once your antenna is tunned properly. I give it 5 stars.

False and misleading add, poor followup Aug 18, 2010
By Jeffrey P Foster DDS I ordered a Cobra CB radio. The picture showed the handset alone with a cord only. Below it was a picture of a connector box and words saying that others who bought the CB also bought the box. So, of course, I ordered itm thinking it was a necessity.
Problem: The CB radio comes with a connector box. I was cahrged not only for two connectors boxes but also had to pay $17 for 2 day delivery even thought I had signed up for free 2 day delivery for all Amazon products. It appears that the connector box, not needed, was supplied by another vendor who did not honor the 2 day agreement. So now I have paid for the box I didn't need and the postage.
I called the vendor and was told I would have to pay another postage fee to return the item.
To add insult to injury, the antenna came in a box that had been rioed open due to poor packing and parts were missing. I called to get this correctred and was again told I would have to pay for the return postage for the damaged product return instructions plus . I have waited patiently (6 weeks) for return instructions and credit for the overcharge but have received none. .
Not much to review Mar 31, 2012
By J. Pittman This box is required for the radio that uses it. So, it's pointless to review it without the radio. I like mine, but the volume could be MUCH louder. Don't know if that's the box or the radio.
