I built an G-H antenna , I have 2 of them and needed to combine the signal from both, hence used this. The signal is combined and with a pre-amp , no more cable or DISH BS. Any, one looking for saving $100 a month should build their own antenna, and receive the signal over the air.

I connected coax from two different antennas and was able to pick up stations up to 60 miles away in two different directions.

We have a single Dish Network 722 DVR receiver with a dual tuner. I used this device to combine the second "TV2" feed of our satellite receiver (Analog Channel 21) with the HDTV antenna feed coming out of our attic into one coax cable. Now all of the TVs in house are able to see all the local off-air HDTV channels as well as the TV2 feed from the satellite receiver. Of course if TV2 is viewing HBO, HBO is what shows up on all of the remote TVs on channel 21, but this is not a problem for us. It is nice to be able to watch our pre-record shows from any TV in the house, but also be able to watch local live TV if someone else is using channel 21 on another TV. This does exactly want I hoped it to do and it has exceeded my expectations.

57 Channels Joning LEAF to RCA - Fairfield CA Mar 28, 2012

Just got this today, connected both antennas to combiner, connected combiner to amp, rescanned and now I'm getting 57 channels which is 9 more then I was getting with the LEAF alone. Channels 2 - 10 were the ones I didn't get with the LEAF and my guess was a dipole would be the best supplement for the LEAF and in my case IT IS! The RCA pulls 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 10 but only with the amp in place. Here is my amp 2-Port Bi-Directional Cable TV HDTV Amplifier Splitter Signal Booster with Passive Return Path. My TV is this LG which is a newer model LG Infinia 42LV5400 42-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LED-LCD HDTV with Smart TV. I'm in a valley with hills all around and my house is over 30 miles away from all of the stations, so this setup is amazing and blows away the idea that you need a big rooftop antenna to receive a lot of channels.

Simple problem. I have a hdtv, non-hd cable, and over the air hd via Paper Thin Leaf Indoor HDTV Antenna - Made in the USA!. Attached the coaxial cables from the antenna and cable box along with a short coaxial cable, 1.5FT RG6 (18AWG) 75Ohm, Quad Shield, CL2 Coaxial Cable with F Type Connector - Black, to the tv and as expected I can watch cable or hd broadcast by simply changing the channel to the respective local channel or channel 4 for the cable set top box. Easy problem, easy fix.
