4Not Quite a Lifetime Warranty  Jun 29, 2010
I just received this bag and have not yet used it on a trip. I wanted to write this review now to correct a significant error in the description of the bag at the Amazon website. The bag is described as having a lifetime warranty. That is not true. When I received the bag, the tag from Outdoor Products clearly states the bag has a 3-year warranty, not a lifetime one. The lifetime warranty was one of the main reasons for me purchasing the bag, as I do a lot of international plane traveling, where luggage is not treated in the most gentle manner.

I have a trip coming up that will include 6 flight legs, and when I return, I'll try to update this review with how the bag performed in actual use.

4Geat bag!  Jan 02, 2010
I've had this bag for a few years and it survived several flights including one from Chicago to South Korea and back (twice). While it has some scuff marks courtesy of your local friendly airport luggage handlers, it's held together very well and there's not any structural issues, other than the zippers occasionally struggling to zip around the bottom compartment. I'd definitely recommend this bag to anyone who wants to travel!

2Bag vs. United Airlines: Fatality!  Dec 23, 2009
This bag *looks* tough and well-constructed (and is definitely roomy), but I began to have misgivings about its longevity when I pulled it off of the carousel after its first flight and noticed the heavy scuffing gouging into the surface of the fabric. It then did okay for two weeks of travel -- being pulled on and off of trains and taxis, rolling a few blocks to the next hotel, etc. -- but it was the Chicago-LA leg of the flight home that killed it off. It arrived with one of the end pockets hanging open -- the zipper was still there, but the zipper head had been pulled completely off the teeth and was nowhere to be seen. Good thing that we hadn't packed anything in that pocket! At this price, I expect a bag to last longer than two weeks; if I wanted disposable luggage, I'd shop at Wal-Mart.

4Rolling duffle test  Apr 11, 2009
Purchased for trip to Eastern Europe, they tell you to pack light and secure. This bad did very well, packs easy, rolls great and has solid locks (needed for any trip overseas). I would endorse its use and purchase the bonus is it looks great as well!

5La Guardia Travel bag  Feb 02, 2009
Bought as a gift. This is a quality bag that holds a lot. Great price compared to other bags in this price range.
