Extra Parts Needed Oct 02, 2006

The Parrot CK3200 is an excellent bluetooth device for your car or truck. However, this item is manufactured in Europe where all vehicles come equipped with ISO connectors on all sound systems. If you are intending to install this item in a vehicle sold in the U.S., you will need ISO adapters. My 2004 Chevrolet Pickup with the Bose Sound system required two adapters at 20 dollars each. The install was 50 dollars on top of that. I still like the system, but want to make sure all buyers are aware of this fact. If you have questions, contact a local stereo installer and they will tell you if they have the adapters needed.

It's just okay Jan 22, 2007
By NeatMarv Found out during installation that if your car has gps navigation, you must install an external speaker (sound quality so-so). The reason is the nav system already cuts off radio speakers when it's in use. You can't use a second cut off device without elaborate and sometimes dicey wiring. Hence the external speaker, which can be tough to hear at times, even with volume way up, due to road noise. Also, no privacy unless you want to shut down bluetooth to use phone normally.

Excellent! Just remember to get a wiring harness. Oct 14, 2006

The Parrot bluetooth car kit was easy to install once I got the wiring harness. It was literally plug-and-play for me in my 2006 Accord. The final bill was $310, which included a swivel mount, wire harness and the device itself. I installed it myself; it took about 4 hours. Excellent device and great speech clarity

After 18 months Jan 02, 2008

I have had the ck3200 for near two years now and have had it installed in 2 different vehicles. I will highly recommend this product for safety minded drivers! Most of the reviews you have read are fairly accurate. It pairs very easy with bluetooth capable phones. However, what you need to know is the following: if possible have the mini-microphone mounted as close to your driving position as possible. I have mine mounted right above my speedometer. Also, make sure that you have the internal mic up all the way. The sound is wonderful when receiving a call...but I spent most of the first year with folks not being able to hear me very well.

Parrot 3200 Car Kit Mar 08, 2007
By D. B. Greenslade Awesome bluetooth car kit. Works exactly as advertised. Syncs with my Treo 700p flawlessly evertime I get in my car. Also hooks up with my girlfriend's phone when she is riding with me. Great for streaming MP3's to the sound system as well. Display is clear and functions are easy to use.
The only negative that I can think of is that this is not necessarily an install that you want to do on your own. Especially if your car has a factory stereo with a built in amplifier. It gets pretty complicated and is likely beyond most layman's ability. The instructions are a little vague and being that its manufactured with wiring for european cars its definately not plug and play. There are some good third party wiring harnesses available though that make it a whole lot easier.
Once its in place though it is Great!!
