I have used two of these holsters for a combined total of about two years. The first one eventually broke when the phone snagged on something and the phone clip snapped off of the belt clip. I have been more careful with the new one and I have not had the same problems with it. I think this holster works well for how I use it now, and I am satisfied with it. It provides rapid access to store and retrieve my phone, and I can still remove the clip to get it out of the way without adjusting my belt like some other products which require the belt be threaded through the holster. Since the rotating connector is just plastic, it tends to loosen over time. As I stated, I have taken care of my current holster, so the total loosening that I have seen allows about ten degrees of freedom. My old holster was not so fortunate, since I was constantly spinning it and wearing it while playing games, including rolling on the ground. It ended up with hardly any tension before it finally broke. The belt clip component is solid and I have not had any problems with it. One thing to be careful with when you start using it is that the top of the phone clip must snap all the way onto the phone. At first you may not realize if the clip is not all the way on (a difference of millimeters, but you learn to feel it easily) but if it is not secure then the phone can fall off.
