1Horrible  Nov 12, 2005
By Heather L. Perez "HeatherLeeP"
This software is the biggest rip off I think I've ever experienced. I was able to use this software to make ONE DVD slideshow of photos and then it quit working. I've tried to contact the company numerous ways (emails, phone calls, leaving messages) over the last 6 weeks and I have not received one response. I've tried reloading the software to my computer and that doesn't work.
I've come to the conclusion that this is junk and the company knows it's junk and that's why no one bothers to get back to you when you have a problem. I had to buy another DVD slideshow software so I could finish my project in time for Thanksgiving. Save yourself the money and buy another brand.

5Perfect for Fast DVD SlideShows and Photo Albums  Dec 07, 2005
By Mark Hansen "Mark H."
I'm not sure why the people below below had all this trouble, but this worked perfectly for me. Within just a few minutes, I had a DVD slideshow set to my music, with the best PAN and ZOOM features in the industry (bringing my photos to life).

1AWFUL  Feb 16, 2010

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT PURCHASE THIS SOFTWARE. I have been trying for DAYS to complete just one DVD slideshow of photos and it still will not work. Every time the slideshow gets to the fourth slide, it quits working and says there has been error and the program needs to close. IT IS SO FRUSTRATING and such a waste.

Not to mention the fact that I just bought this software from Staples for $40 and now see it here on Amazon.com for just ten bucks. WHAT A RIP OFF. It doesn't work anyway so even $10 would be a waste of money for this junk.

5great software for the money  Jul 16, 2007
By Kathy "Kathy"
I got a pretty good deal on this. Won't say how much or where since it wasn't through Amazon. I have been very pleased with it so far. I have put several home movies on DVD and also created a slideshow of photos from my digital camera. Everything I have made plays fine and looks very nice. One cool feature about the slideshow, it let me add background music (a song from one of my albums) and the software automatically set the speed of the slideshow so it was perfectly timed to the length of the song.

The software wasn't too difficult to learn. It took a few hours to install the software and set everything up to make my first video. I'm not sure how long it took to encode and burn the DVD since I walked away and let it do its thing.

I only have one complaint. When I capture a video from my camcorder, it gives me the option for automatic scene detection by date/time or by scene change. I can select the scenes I want to use and change the order they appear on the DVD. This part works fine. But when I go to burn the DVD, it puts the scenes back together again. If I want the video split into chapters so I can skip scenes using my DVD remote control, I have to manually split them myself, which is very time consuming and tedious.
