Intec Mini controllers do not work! Oct 30, 2005
By Polkadottie This product did not work at all! Wish I would have seen the customer comments before I ordered. Lesson learned. Do not buy this product. I am surprised they are still available on Amazon.

This controller sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sep 25, 2005
By Barbara E. Glenn My husband bought these controllers and they totally suck!!!!! I can not beleive that they are still online for sale. They should be removed immediately. Many people have bought these controllers with the hope that they would atleast work for a couple of months. They are not durable nor or they reliable. You are better off using Sony's corded controllers!!!

Could use some work. Aug 02, 2005
By Xagest I bought these at Toys R' Us and did a bit of experimenting with them. When I first put them in, they worked like a charm. The buttons are sensitive, and the analog isn't bad (It's not quite as sensitive as the official PS2 controller, but it can handle 16-32 different directions fine). The grip is comfortable for small to medium hands, and teh buttons are well placed. There is also turbo functions on this controller, as well as a rumble toggle (those who want to save battery might want to turn rumble on low or off).
There is a small problem with the signal, though. As it stands, you need direct line of sight from the controller to the reciever to function properly. If anything larger than your finger is in the way, the signal will start falling out. Those with medium/big hands run the problem of covering the signal antenna themselves.
Signal problems may also come in if you have a wireless router or cordless phones. Wireless Routers (and some cordless phones) use the 2.44ghz standard as well. This may cause some interference with the controller. The reverse probably won't happen because the controller's signal isn't substantial enough to block your normal phone/router operations.
Not a great buy, but they're much cheaper than most wireless controllers out there. Single controller packs can run to about 30-40 dollars, and you will recieve two controllers for about $40 here. If you're not picky, or if you have some modification schemes planned, you may want to take a look at these. If you want to look at another controller, be sure to check the reviews for those as well.

Total garbage! May 12, 2005
By mattyd The only reason they get 1 star is because you can't rate it any less. I give them a -4 star rating. These things are awful! I bought them for my kids for christmas and the next day they were back to using the Sony corded controllers. The signal would have to reset about every 5 minutes and totally ruins gameplay. I even e-mailed them about the problem with absolutey no reply. Tried to call them - was on hold forever. Steer clear of these controllers anything else from those scumbags at Intec!

For old PS2 only Jun 08, 2006
By Chris Adamson

This was a good wireless controller for our four-year-old son -- a good fit for small hands -- until we replaced the aging PS2 with a new slim model. Suddenly, the wireless remote stopped working. It looks like this controller can only be used with the older "big" PS2? If that's the case, then your model of PS2 determines whether you should even consider buying this controller.
