Good for everyday use... Sep 24, 2009

I use this flashlight just about everyday on the job. Since it is very light and has a great grip it is easy to hold in your armpit while you hands are busy working. The LED function works awesome when you don't need to light up everything around you just what is in front of you. I don't know exactly how long the light lasts in each mode, but probably 45 min in full mode and a very long time with LED. It is made of a polymer but is surprisingly sturdy. Previously I used the metal version of this light which worked well just a bit heavy.

Streamlight Feb 12, 2009
By Mike Works great without any problems. The LED light comes in handy especially when the battery begins to lose it's charge.

Streamlight Flashlight - My #1 flashlight Mar 05, 2012
By Gary T. I have worked as a police officer for 21 years and have used Streamlight flashlights the whole time. Bought this for my home use. This flashlight is made of the same stuff they make my hand gun out of. It's not just plastic, its better. It holds up to heat and cold without braking. Dropped my work Streamlight flashlight more then once and works great. Once in a while the bulb will blow out when you drop them, like any light bulb does with abuse. As for getting just bumped and knocked around it works great. I use a Streamlight every night and it just keeps on working. Its on the charger almost always when I'm not using it. The battery will last for many years before it starts to loose the charge for extended use. You replace it and you are back in business. If you take care of the battery, it should last 10 plus years. The shell should last forever. The parts such as the lense, switch, battery and bulb you can replace if damaged. The clear plastic lease is like $1. Battery is around $30. Depending on the bulb they run someplace around $8 to 10. Not sure on the switch, never had to replace one. BTW, its water proof and light weight too, about 1 pound. The orange flashlight is on the dark side of orange. It's not quite the bright orange as the pictures makes it look, but I like it. You'll love this flashlight. Make sure you read and get the one with two sleaves, and AC/DC chargers. That way you can plug it in at home from a normal plug outlet or plug it in to a lighter in your car. With two charging sleaves you can move it from home to car as needed. Good luck and stay safe.

Best Work Light Ever! Dec 20, 2010
By J. Jong Many people are issued the heavy metal Streamlight for work. This flashlight is a great compliment/replacement, and it uses the same charger.
I particularly like this light for many reasons:
*It is very lightweight compared to the metal version *The rubberized grip allows you to hold the light under arm (armpit) *The LED light allows for the use of a bright white light while saving TONS of battery life *The incandescent bulb is also available for when a more powerful light is needed *It is VERY durable (I dropped my last one on the ground several times without any problems) *Comes with a home and car charger
What more can you ask for!
