Pleasantly surprised Nov 29, 2005
By Richard Etheridge I purchased this for my son two weeks ago and so far it has held up well. He has gone through two other wired controllers which I didn't like from the start. I'm not sure how long this one will last but so far I like the controller as much as one I purchased for myself at more than twice the price. Nice compact size even for adult hands.
ADDITIONAL:
I've had 4 of these now and my joy over them has gone down significantly. Two have died and of the remaining two, one will stop functioning for many seconds then start working again. Perhaps this is caused by two conrollers attempting to share the same signal, but it doesn't really matter, it's a pain. For the price there's not many other choices, so go ahead and get one but hold on to your reciept.

Remember to put in the batteries! Aug 17, 2005
By Spence This wireless controller works remarkably well. The setup is little more than a wired controller--stick in the receiver, make sure the channel on the receiver and the controller are the same...and be sure to put the batteries in the controller. It sits in your hands much as the old Nintendo 8-bit controller used to, but has all of the Xbox controls. Great for anybody that finds the full-size Xbox controllers a bit cumbersome and hand-wearying.

Its awesome to the untrained eye Jun 12, 2005
It's cool. It's fits almost any where. However it's size is recommended for smaller hands usually kids and teens. Besides that it's awesome.

a great wireless game pad Jan 11, 2006
By J. Libby The MadCatz wireless controller for xbox works great, is easy to set up and the smaller size vs the standard MS control fits easier in the hand. (Though, maybe that's just because I was used to the Playstation control). Been playing COD Big Red One all week with it since I got it and it rocks

Failure Dec 27, 2006

Same story here: garbage analog switches. Mine lasted about a month, and it's now unusable. While I should have learned my lesson by now with 3rd party controllers, it was worth a risk for $5 off the Target clearance aisle. Sure the other buttons and the wireless capability are fine, but a controller with a busted analog stick is a complete failure in my opinion.
