Very comfortable Feb 07, 2009
By J. Weed I've had one for a few years now and I wouldn't trade it for any other. It's actually long enough to span the length of my dell keyboard, plus hang over enough to use with the mouse as well. I need to get another for the office because after just a couple hours I can feel my wrists start to hurt from resting on the hard desk. But I often sit for 10 or more hours straight working at home, and never feel discomfort with the gel rest. It's also really easy to clean unlike the ones that have fabric on them, and that's important to me with two young kids and a husband that use it too. I also find the fabric ones starts to irritate my skin from the constant friction against the rough fabric, and that's completely eliminated with this one.

Works great even with a Mac keyboard Jan 02, 2009
By Angela Wilson
"I love books & DVDs!"
I always have great luck with this product. It cushions my wrists gently, but firmly, so they don't after a day at the keyboard. I have the matching mouse pad, which is also fantastic for the wrist.
I was really surprised that it worked well with the small Mac keyboard. Your hands are in a different position than with PC, but that doesn't seem to impact the effectiveness.
Great buy for the price.

wrist rest Jan 07, 2010
By amf0001 I've gone through quite a few wrist rests lately, basically because my son (11) likes pulling at them till they fall apart, not a habit I encourage! I need wrist rests because otherwise I get pain and can't use the computer. This one is different in that it is feels like it's coated with plastic wrap rather than fabric. It's very comfortable and best of all my son can't pick at it as he did with the more fabric covered ones. I have hopes that this will last longer. It's firmer than other wrist rests I've used and also a little narrower. Personally I would have liked it to be a little longer and wider, it's the narrowest wrist rest I've ever used, but then again, it also uses less desk space and does the job. Let's see if it lasts the distance.
Edited to add, 7 months later it still looks like the first day it did when I took it out, so it's outlasted the past few ones that I've bought, I like the firmness and got used to the narrowness. I would still like it to be a little longer but otherwise very happy with it

thin and long / good for keyboards / bad for laptops Oct 13, 2009
By city mom it's about 1.5 cm thick and 18.5 in long.
I wanted to use it with my macbook pro (because the edges are too sharp), but as another reviewer indicated it's thickness (or lack thereof) is not large enough to provide support and I find my wrists still hanging off the keyboard.
However, I found it very pleasant to use with a regular keyboard.
So, it all depends on what you are looking for... laptop or keyboard use!
